Register your equine online below or download our printable form and mail it to AMBA, Inc. c/o Debbie Edwards, 235 Black Stallion Rd., Townsend, DE 19734.
Payment can be made online or by mailing a check. Online payments include credit card processing fees.
Equine registration is $15 for current members, $40 for a non-member's first animal, and $15 for all subsequent animals.
Please use one application per animal. You do not have to have title to register, and owners may be listed differently from BLM adoption records. This is not a BLM title application.

Membership registration is good for one year, starting on January 1st.
All members receive a membership card, as well as member discounts on registrations. New memberships received after October 1 are applied to the remainder of the present year and to the coming year in full. All adult members are voting members.

Apply for the AMBA Yearly Student Scholarship
The application deadline is October 15th.
The American Mustang and Burro Association awards the Theodora “Sis” Kunde Memorial Academic Scholarship each year to one deserving student interested in pursuing a career in equine science related to promotion, education, and preservation of wild horses and burros.
Applicants must be currently attending or planning to attend a degree program leading towards a career in working with the wild equine or burro (i.e. veterinarian medicine, animal and/or range management). You will be contacted by a representative from the AMBA Scholarship Committee for a personal interview if selected as a finalist.

As part of the application, you must include a personal statement that answers the following questions. Please make sure your name is on all attachments.
